What is Strength & Conditioning?

Our athletes recognise that it is their responsibility to take their Strength & Conditioning work seriously at an early stage of their netball career. This helps then learn and become better athletes as well as a netball player.

Athletes are provided with a Strength & Conditioning plan for netball which focuses on four key areas that they are required to complete outside of training:

Injury prevention

Strength

Power 

Speed

 Sometimes training is better with friends therefore we joint forces with Tiro Fitness who provide athletes with private group personal training sessions. Each session last one hour and pushes our athletes to their limits. Depending on our club fixtures, athletes try to attend these sessions at least twice a month.
